Flex and Rest
An adaptable class that intermediate and beginners could enjoy.  Class begins with gentle warm ups followed by active poses.  Rest is interspersed between every few poses to integrate awareness of the body and promote parasympathetic engagement of the nervous system.  All body movement directions are engaged i.e. forward, backward, and side bending, inversion, twists and balance.  Class ends with body scan and loving kindness meditation or breath awareness meditation .
